TMFS YouTube channel nominated for a Webby Award

On April 20, 2021, the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) announced the Nominees for “The 25th Annual Webby Awards” – hailed as the OSCARS of the Internet. Terra Mater Factual Studios are nominated for their YouTube Channel in the category “Video Series & Channel: Science & Education” – a clear sign that TMFS also delivers noteworthy products in the online sector.

Voting for The Webby People’s Voice Awards is open now until Thursday, May 6, at 11:59 PM (PT).

As Webby Nominee, Terra Mater Factual Studios’ work has been singled out as one of the five best in the world in its category, and it is now competing for the Internet’s two most coveted awards: The Webby Award, selected by the Academy, and The Webby People’s Voice Award, voted on by Internet fans around the world.

With the Terra Mater YouTube Channel, Terra Mater Factual Studios bring short-form documentaries about conservation and the environment, as well as nature and wildlife, directly to a growing audience, drawing attention to the fact that #terramatters.

Walter Köhler, CEO of Terra Mater Factual Studios, is overjoyed by this success: “We launched our YouTube channel only 20 months ago with the aim of raising awareness about our fragile planet and to drive change for the better. To see that our videos and our commitment have been highlighted by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, makes me indescribably proud and happy.”
